Think Through Psychology represents a comprehensive and thoughtful approach.
About Me
Hi! I’m Stephanie. I’m a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist, which means I have extensive training and experience working with people to understand how their brain is working and how this relates to their thinking, behaviour and emotions. While I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, my most extensive practice has been working across various paediatric public health services. My passion lies in working with children and adolescents, and providing support to parents and teachers. Within this context, I have experience working with complex medical conditions (including congenital and genetic conditions), trauma-exposure, neurodivergence, mental health conditions, and acquired brain injuries.

My Approach
My approach to care is empathetic, trauma-informed and comprehensive. This means I work with strengths as well as challenges and take a gentle approach that considers a person’s life experiences, and feelings of connection, safety and security.
I also strongly value evidence-based practice and education, placing importance on translating knowledge into everyday situations, and using my clinical experience to inform gaps in the current evidence-base. As a result, I am involved in research and supporting tertiary education on an ongoing basis, including contributing to post-graduate student training and research projects.
